“Samastipur Gears Up for Polls: SP Arvind Pratap Singh Urges Voters to Cast Votes Fearlessly, Assures Full Security

As Samastipur heads into polling, the district administration has gone into full alert mode to ensure peaceful and fair elections. District Superintendent of Police Arvind Pratap Singh appealed to all voters to come out in large numbers and cast their votes without fear or hesitation, assuring that security across the district is watertight. He emphasized that the police are keeping a close watch on every movement and that law and order will not be compromised under any circumstances.
Giving details of the massive poll preparations, officials said Samastipur district comprises 10 Assembly constituencies, with 3,603 polling booths set up in 1,762 buildings. The total number of voters stands at 29,04,776, including 15,68,365 men and 13,72,411 women. To ensure a smooth and transparent voting process, around 58,000 personnel have been deployed to support the conduct of the elections.
SP Arvind Pratap Singh stated, “There’s no reason for anyone to fear. The police are on the ground to protect every voter. Let this election be a true celebration of democracy — step out and vote with confidence.”
Authorities confirmed that additional forces have been stationed at sensitive booths, drone surveillance is being carried out, and patrolling has been intensified across the district. The SP reiterated that every necessary measure has been taken to ensure peaceful, transparent, and fair polling.
In his closing words, SP Singh delivered a clear message:The police stand as your shield — exercise your democratic right without fear.”
