“Children Lead the Way in Democracy: Battha Village Echoes with ‘Vote First, Then Eat’ Slogans”

Battha village under Chakthaat Purab Panchayat in Samastipur district witnessed a remarkable scene on Tuesday, as the spirit of democracy came alive through a grand voter awareness rally organized by Saraswati Vidya Mandir Sainik Battha. The initiative aimed to inspire villagers ahead of the Bihar Assembly Elections 2025.

Hundreds of students, dressed in their uniforms and full of enthusiasm, marched in disciplined rows through the village lanes, raising energetic slogans like “Vote first, then eat!”, “Press the EVM button, fulfill your duty!”, and “The blue mark on your finger is the mark of democracy!” Their voices echoed through every corner, drawing the attention of villagers who stepped out to cheer them on.

The rally was flagged off from the statue of the school’s founder, Dr. Ramswaroop Mahato, by school chairman Binod Kumar. The event was led by Principal Ramchandra Mandal, with active participation from Ghanshyam Mishra, Vijayvrat Kanth, Manoj Kumar, Rishikesh Singh, Ashutosh Kumar, Vikas Singh, Preeti Kumari, Shweta Jha, and Lalan Kumar, among others.

Students like Khushi Kumari, Sushmita Kumari, Nandini Sharma, Aparajita Singh, Srishti, Aditya Om, Aman Raj, Ayush Sharma, and many more took part with great zeal. The rally transformed the atmosphere of Battha into one of civic pride and awareness.

Local residents highly appreciated the effort, calling it a “noble step towards strengthening the roots of democracy.”
