Samastipur Celebrates Spiritual Milestone as Abu Zar Completes Memorization of the Holy Quran

A deeply spiritual and historic atmosphere enveloped Darul Uloom Tajweed-ul-Quran, located in Akbarpur, Sari (Samastipur), as young and promising student Aziz Muhammad Abu Zar, son of Maulana Shaukat Mazaheri, successfully completed the full memorization of the Holy Quran — an achievement that brought immense pride to the entire region.
Abu Zar’s ancestral village Nimi, under Singhia police station in Samastipur district, rejoiced with overwhelming happiness. The wave of celebration extended across his maternal and paternal family circles, Singhia block, and the entire district, where people exchanged greetings and showered heartfelt prayers on the young Hafiz.
The Light of the Quran Is Granted to Those Whom Allah Chooses” — Dr. Shahid
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Muhammad Shahid emphasized that becoming a Hafiz of the Quran is not merely the result of hard work but also a reflection of Allah’s special grace.
He remarked:
Truly blessed is the one who memorizes the Quran, lives by it, and leaves this world with Allah’s words illuminating the heart.”
He urged parents to create an Islamic environment for their children, stressing that this is the most valuable legacy for the coming generations.
The Honor and Rank of a Hafiz on the Day of Judgment
Qari Rashid Irfani highlighted the spiritual status of a Hafiz, saying:
On the Day of Judgment, the Hafiz will be told—keep reciting and keep ascending. Your final destination will be where the last verse you recite ends.”
Maulana Naushad Qasmi added that memorizing the Quran is not just committing verses to memory, but filling the soul with divine light.
A Spiritual Gathering Marked by Recitation, Naat, and the Final Lesson
The program began with a moving recitation of the Holy Quran by Maulana Rustam Thaqbi, followed by a heartfelt Naat presented by Maulana Nizamuddin Qasmi.
The event reached its emotional peak when Abu Zar, in the presence of his teacher Qari Waseem Ahmad, recited the final Surah, marking the completion of his Hifz journey.
The hall echoed with “MashaAllah,” heartfelt blessings, and applause as relatives, teachers, and guests adorned him with garlands and expressed their joy.
Prayers for Peace, Knowledge, and a Bright Future
The ceremony concluded with a soul-stirring dua led by Qari Muhammad Shahid, praying for Abu Zar’s continued religious progress, good health, and a successful future, along with peace and harmony for the entire region.
